![]() And if they renovate like they plan to next year, then this hotel could rate 5-stars.Hello Richard,Thank you for choosing to stay at Clementine Hotel & Suites Anaheim! It is wonderful to hear that you had an enjoyable experience with us. If you want to stay at a hotel where you feel cared for, you will not go wrong staying here. The manager, Henry, was very responsive to our concerns as to whether the rooms were allergen free. The front desk staff was also very helpful in printing out online Disney tickets for us and in assisting with our check-out. Because our daughter has a peanut allergy, we spoke with the breakfast maitre d' and serving staff who took the time to review the food ingredients with us so that we could check if the food was peanut-free. But what the hotel lacks in physical quality, the staff and management (we dealt with manager Henry Flores) more than made up with their superb friendliness, helpfulness and responsiveness! We have stayed in many nice hotel properties before including Fairmont, Hyatt, Hilton, Delta, Pan Pacific and other boutique hotels and must say that Henry's staff provided service 2nd to none! Everyone we spoke with was very friendly and helpful. ![]() The windows, doors, carpets should be updated and the walls repainted. However, this hotel is very outdated (seems unchanged since the 50's or 60's) and the facility isn't up to the high standards we had experienced at other Marriott properties including Marriott Hotel, Courtyard Marriott and Residence Inn Marriott in both USA and Canada. We selected it because it was within walking distance to Disney, it had a kitchen (we preferred to cook our own food as our daughter has a peanut allergy), it wasn't a high-rise (felt safer given that So Cal is in an earthquake zone), it had a pool and kids playground and that it was managed by Marriott. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel during our family's trip to Disneyland. We were really impressed by this eat value for what we got. ![]() As a Mariott rewards card holder, I got to spin the rewards wheel and won 2 free items from their 24 hr market and i was able to pick anything out except wine/beer. Our boys also loved the basketball court. They have a 24 hrs pool which the kids used, and we used the hot tub to soak our old bones at night. On site laundry is a bonus $1.25 per wash and per dryer, you can also buy soap there too. Stafff were very friendly, they never bothered us but when we needed something, they were there and extremely efficient and friendly. 2-10th which was an awesome time.low rates, way less crowds at parks and weather was still warm enough for t-shirt/shorts during the day. Wifi worked great for us and we really loved the courtyard with gas firepit. We used the shuttle service to Disney only 1 day because we had rented cars, but shuttle was great, very punctual every 20 min and even though they are supposed to stop at 2 other hotels, it seemed that everyone was at our hotel so we rarely had to stop so shuttle was very quick back and forth to Disney. They also had a nacho night and BBQ hamburger/hotdog night for FREE for every guest. We saved so much money by eating there every morning. Two kinds of scrambled eggs each morning (cheesy or plain).sausage/bacon or ham, bagels, toast.juices/fruit. From granola/yogurt, to waffles and biscuits and gravy. The free buffet has an amazing selection for 'FREE" people.i don't get how people have complained in these reviews. We loved the Shopping service they provided!!! They don't charge extra, just for the cost of food!! It was so nice to arrive at the hotel that first night and have a bucket of fried chicken/mojos waiting for the kids to eat right away and us Moms not having to scramble over to a grocery store to get a bunch of food we probably didn't need if the kids were with us! I also needed to get shampoo the next day so left a list at the front desk and when we got home that was in our room. Both requests were filled! We also emailed the hotel with a list of groceries so that there would be food there when we got there and so we didn't have to go grocery shopping. We requested ahead of time that our rooms be close together and near the BBQ area. ![]() We went with another family, so 2 rooms and 8 people all together. ![]()
